As the cost of Cat6 cables has begun to drop, and bandwidth increase, Cat6 is becoming more of a standard throughout network infrastructures. Cat6 cables also made of copper and are Gigabit rated cables, providing greater data throughput.

There are 2 real levels of Cat6 cables; a standard "Channel Tested" Cat6 cable, and "Fully Compliant" Cat6 cables. . With each increased level, comes increased testing, documentation, as well as an increased price. Certified and Fully Compliant cables are by request only. All cables, at a minimum, are Channel Tested.
